Placement Team

Gurumoorthy Natarajan was the Placements Head at XLRI, Jamshedpur, where he achieved a campus placement worth 44 lakhs CTC (Highest Domestic CTC at XLRI). He brings 16+ years of work experience to the table, with 11 + Years in the education field – CXO level relationship, alumni engagements, career services, and corporate relations. He has established himself for heading / driving the corporate relationship and career services unit by helping students in securing better employment and internship opportunities.

In the last 16+ years, he has worked with start-ups / early-stage organizations across industries – Telecom, Advertising, Media. He was associated with SASTRA University, Tata Consultancy Services, IIM Ranchi, AIMS Institutes, and IMI Kolkata (RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group) mostly in campus placements and corporate relations. His responsibilities include PAN India Company Visits, Alumni Relations, streamlining the placement-related processes, and networking. An Optimistic, enthusiastic, and positive person, always keen on bringing positive changes to the workplace and people he associates with.

He has done his Postgraduate Certification in Business Management (PGCBM) from XLRI. He also holds an Engineering and MBA degree. Gurumoorthy Natarajan currently heads GEEKLURN’s Corporate Relations department as a Director of Corporate Relations & Placement. He develops new initiatives and designs placement strategies that are aimed at successfully placing GEEKLURN-ers across all tech-based businesses. He collaborates closely with stakeholders to launch and diversify GEEKLURN’s expansion.

Sudhakar Piridi is an MBA postgraduate, and alumnus of GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, with 15+ years of experience in Corporate Connections, Networking Opportunities, Campus Recruitment, Industrial Partnering, and Talent Management as a placement officer. He has extensive experience in industrial communication, campus selection as well as coordination and management of training programs. He has arranged On & Off / Pool Campus Drives for all streams of Graduates & Post-Graduates across India.

He specialises in corporate relations, HR training, and career counseling. He is skilled in business growth, client management, and client retention, including academic institutions, franchise partners, and corporations. His strong logical and analytical skills along with a strategic ability for career pathways make him a perfectionist. He has worked for top organizations such as IIM Udaipur, SRM University, IIITDM Kurnool, and ICFAI Business school and has a broad understanding of the placement culture.

He has been instrumental in strengthening industry ties, resulting in more placements, internships, consultancy assignments, and sponsorships. He has also helped students find gainful employment by professional career counseling, interacting with the media and industry. Sudhakar Piridi is currently employed in GEEKLURN as the Associate Director of Corporate Relations and Placements.

Suviksha Shetty is an Engineer by profession and holds an M.Tech Degree in CSE from Visvesvaraya Technological University. She has set a benchmark for delivering high-class education and an environment that is conducive to learning. She comes with a blend of institute experience of placements, Corporate Relations, and coordinating projects across industries.

As a perfectionist, she has successfully set examples of training and placements. She possesses demonstrable skills in decision making, is target-oriented, & demonstrates expertise in analytical and critical thinking. With an eye for perfection, she has a unique knack for solving problems.

As a multi-talented persona, she has worked with students in different activities other than the regular curriculum like the NSS wing of the Institute and secured them all on the right path for their future.
